Organise
Artisans form producer collectives that they own and govern.
NDDB Dairy Services (NDS) is a not-for-profit company and a wholly owned subsidiary of the National Dairy Development Board. It works in the field with rural producers, helping them form and run producer-owned enterprises managed by professionals.
[This store extends that model to handicrafts: what NDS does for artisan collectives, how products are selected, and how earnings reach the makers. To be written with NDS.]
What we believe
Owned by the people who make it
Producer companies supported by NDS are owned by their members, and many are run entirely by women. We bring the same principle to craft.
